Mount Temple (3,543m), Alberta, Canada - scrambling, bad weather, fall on descend

"LAKE LOUISE — A woman has fallen to her death while climbing Mount Temple in Banff National Park.

Lake Louise RCMP say they were called out Friday afternoon.

The woman and a companion, both from Calgary, had been climbing the common route on the mountain when the weather conditions started to deteriorate and they began their descent.

It seems the woman in her 30s somehow slipped, while the man watched her slide out of view. The man was airlifted out of the area. The woman was later found dead.

RCMP say heavy snowfall and high winds likely played a factor in the woman’s fall."
